Kate Jablonski

Kate Jablonski is the owner/founder of Beyond Words Dance Center, The Kate Jablonski Statement, Camp Kate and Go Beyond Performance Group. Her career began in New York City at the Broadway Dance Center under the direction of Wes Veldink. Kate has taught and choreographed for companies in Canada, England, France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Italy. In 2009, Kate received the prestigious Gold Leo’s Award and was chosen as a finalist in the Capezio A.C.E. Awards. She debuted her professional dance show “Beyond Words” at New World Stages in Manhattan in July of 2010. Meanwhile, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Illinois—Chicago. Kate co-directed and choreographed Laura Marling’s music video “I Was Just A Card”. She founded Camp Kate in summer of 2010. The three-day intensive brings students to Chicago to experience Kate’s unique teaching style. In summer of 2013, the intensive expanded to the UK! Performances by Beyond Words and The Kate Jablonski Statement have earned her the title of Dance Chicago’s Choreographer of the Year in 2013.
