Jessica Odasz
Jessica Odasz trained at the Draper Center for Dance Education. There she performed in The Rochester City Ballet’s Nutcracker, Firebird, Don Quixote and Peter and the Wolf. Jessica has had the opportunity to study with American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Boston Ballet, Houston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Royal Ballet of London, Stuttgart Ballet, Ballet Trockadero de Monte Carlo, National Ballet of Cuba, Bolshoi Ballet and Mariinsky Ballet. In 2003, she founded Odasz Dance Theatre and Western New York Ballet. She has directed productions of the Nutcracker, Paquita, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, The Little Mermaid and Four Seasons. Her students compete at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP). In 2015 she was awarded the Outstanding Teacher award and the past four years (2016-2019) has accepted the Outstanding School award at the YAGP. Her students have been awarded scholarships to programs at American Ballet Theatre, The School of American Ballet, Ellison Ballet, The Bolshoi Ballet, The Rock School for Dance Education, Ballet West, Joffrey Ballet and Royal Ballet School. Jessica holds a BS in English and an MS in education.
